Pressure, and what each surface can take
Contractors routinely run 4,000 PSI. On the wrong surface that is the damage, not the clean.
The proof
Real jobs, real results.

If it can be pressure washed, we can make it look new again.
Some surfaces need a lighter touch. Stucco wants a wide tip held well back rather than a tight jet, because the wrong tip will open the finish up and let water behind it. We match the pressure to the surface, every time.
Artificial turf is the one thing pressure never touches. Pressure lifts the infill out, flattens the blades and can tear the seams. Turf gets power brooming and a gentle deep clean, which is a different service entirely.
If your driveway came back from the last company with stripes across it, that is a wand mark. A flat surface cleaner covers the slab evenly, which is why it looks uniform and why it takes a fraction of the time.

Why driveways come back striped
Flat surface cleaner
Covers the slab at a consistent distance and pressure. The result is even, in a fraction of the time.
Wand
Cleans in overlapping arcs, so distance and pressure vary with every pass. The passes dry as stripes.
Stripes across a driveway are wand marks from the last job, not stains.
Questions
Pressure Washing questions, answered.
Will pressure washing damage my stucco?
Not if it is done at the right pressure. Stucco needs a wide tip held well back, or a soft wash under 500 PSI with cleaning solution doing the work. The damage people have seen usually comes from a narrow tip held close, which opens up the finish and drives water behind it.
What is the difference between pressure washing and soft washing?
Pressure washing uses force, typically 1,300 to 4,000 PSI, and suits hard flat surfaces like driveways and sidewalks. Soft washing runs under 500 PSI and lets the cleaning solution do the work, which is what delicate surfaces need: stucco, painted timber and anything with a coating.
Why does my driveway have stripes on it?
That is zebra striping, and it means the last job was done with a wand rather than a flat surface cleaner. A wand cleans in overlapping arcs, so the passes show. A surface cleaner covers the slab at a consistent distance and pressure, which is why the result is even.
Will it hurt my plants or my pool?
Not with the right preparation. Desert landscaping right against the house means vegetation gets pre-wet and rinsed down afterwards so nothing sits on the leaves, and runoff is directed away from pool water. Point out anything you are particularly worried about before we start.
Should the windows be cleaned before or after a house wash?
After, always. Washing the house or roof sends runoff down over the glass, and that runoff is carrying everything that just came off the walls. Doing the windows first means doing them twice. If you want both, the order matters more than the timing.
